A powerful way to track where the website has been is WordPress Revisions. But what about where it is headed? Just install PublishPress Revisions to moderate or schedule improvements to published posts and let the teamwork begin. Since PublishPress Revisions works with the familiar WordPress UI, including the Gutenberg and the Classic Editor, there is no need to learn or customize complex new screens.
PROVIDE REVISIONS
PublishPress Revisions enables the users to send requests for changes to the posts released. Using the standard WordPress editor, your users can update posts, but their changes won’t be published automatically. The revisions are instead held as a “pending revision” that can be accepted or denied.
REVISIONS ON Time
PublishPress Revisions enables you to plan the release of WordPress revisions in the future. “All you need to do when editing a published post is to pick a future date and click “Schedule Revision”. At the stated time, your changes will be released.
MANAGE AND REVISIONS OF MODERATE
You will find the revision on the Revision Queue screen after you make a revision with PublishPress Revisions. This screen shows you all the changes for approval that have been submitted. You can select from several moderation tools underneath each revision: Edit, Remove, Preview and Compare.
REVISIONS Equate
Changes to post content, categories, tags, featured image, page parent, and other options may be included in the Pending and Scheduled Revisions. In the familiar Compare Revisions gui, each of those modifications can be checked.
MODERATION OF REVISIONS FRONTEND
Using the frontend of your WordPress account, it is possible to preview and moderate revisions. If you press Preview for a pending revision, a toolbar will appear around the site’s front-end. This toolbar can adjust color so that the status of the revision can be easily understood. If you’re looking at a pending revision, for instance, the toolbar will be orange. The toolbar will be grey for planned revisions.
NOTIFICATIONS ON EMAIL FOR REVISIONS
Administrators and Editors will be informed by PublishPress Revisions when a new revision is submitted. In order to preview, compare and accept the changes, they should log in. You may also submit emails for revision approval and publishing to PublishPress Revisions. The Settings screen helps you to disable alerts that are unwanted.
